Ochsner Baton Rouge adds 6 new specialists

Ochsner Baton Rouge (La.) has added six new staff members across a variety of specialties, according to a March 28 report from The Advocate.

Meredith Hitch, MD, is a gastroenterologist joining Ochsner from a pediatric GI fellowship at St. Louis (Mo.) Children’s Hospital. Ericka Flood, MD, a family medicine physician specializing in primary care and bariatric medicine, comes to Ochsner from the United Kingdom. 

Majid Jawar, MD, specializes in internal medicine, receiving additional training in pulmonary medicine. Patrick Delaney, MD, practices noninvasive cardiology, specializing in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and cardiovascular CT. 

Ochsner also welcomed nurse practitioner Brittany George, NP, and physician’s assistant Trista Kramer, PA. Ms. George specializes in treating diabetes, while Ms. Kramer specializes in neurosurgery.
