Dr. Hong currently serves as chief physician executive for the Medical University of South Carolina Physicians and MUSC Health in Charleston, according to a June 19 news release. He will retain his roles with MUSC as the position with World Lacrosse is a volunteer role.
Dr. Hong has over two decades of experience in sports medicine and has spent 15 years volunteering as a physician for USA Lacrosse, including two stints as the USA national team physician for the women’s team in 2011 and the men’s team in 2016.
