He has been serving as interim chair of the department since June 2022, focusing on neurotrauma, cerebrovascular and complex spine surgery, according to a March 31 press release.
Dr. Kelly is also an associate professor of neurological surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, population and quantitative health sciences, and bioethics at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and MetroHealth Medical Center, both in Cleveland.
