Dr. Kim most recently served as chief executive of the Providence Clinical Network, according to a July 19 news release. He previously served as a medical director at MemorialCare from 2009 to 2015.
In this role, Dr. Kim will oversee MemorialCare’s physician and ambulatory care division, which encompasses more than 2,000 affiliated medical group and independent physicians.
His appointment follows the retirement of Mark Schafer, MD, who served in the role for nearly a decade.
