Dr. Duggan, founder and managing director of Health Care Volunteers International, has brought thousands of pounds of medical supplies to the country.

Health Care Volunteers International provides surgeries, amputations and other medical procedures to Ukrainian civilians who need them.

“The character of the individuals you’re working with and their commitment to their country and to their people is just really something you don’t see anywhere else, I think, in the world right now,” Dr. Duggan told WCVB.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 18–20 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
