Created using a $3 million grant from the Boston-based Ruderman Family Foundation in 2022, the hospital created the ELEVATE program to give mid- and early-career providers with leadership potential the managerial and communications skills they need to thrive and drive culture change, adaptability and equity at the institutional level, according to a Feb. 5 Mass General news release shared with Becker’s.

This year’s 15-member cohort has members from across the hospital’s units; they will participate in the yearlong program, which consists of seminars, practice groups, coaching and mentorship, and a capstone project, according to the release.

The members of last year’s inaugural ELEVATE cohort will continue learning under Kerri Palamara, MD, while also serving as mentors for the second cohort.
