Christopher Trevino, MD, has been named vice president, physician executive of Baton Rouge (La.) Market Emergency Services for Our Lady of the Lake, according to a May 16 report from the Gonzales Weekly Citizen.
Dr. Trevino has held a variety of leadership positions for Our Lady of the Lake Ascension in Gonzales since 1999 and will continue his role as chief medical officer there. He is also medical director of all EMS and fire services in Ascension Parish and medical director and emergency medical support for the Crisis Response Team for the Ascension Parish Sheriff Office.
In this new role, Dr. Trevino will oversee the six Our Lady of the Lake emergency rooms caring for 200,000 patients annually, the report said.
