Dr. Sloan is an internal medicine specialist and a former United States Army Veteran. He is also a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Sloan joins LMH from St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City where he served as chief medical officer and lead hospitalist. He will also work part time in LMH’s hospitalist program.

“He is an outstanding physician leader and the right fit for LMH Health. We had nine physicians involved with our CMO selection and all supported his candidacy for this role. That’s a good sign for the importance of this role working with our medical staff effectively,” Russ Johnson, LMH’s president and CEO, said of Dr. Sloan in a Jan. 13 press release.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
