Dr. Reed has been executive vice president and global head of research and development of pharmaceutical company Sanofi since 2018, according to a Feb. 13 release. He joins Johnson & Johnson with over three decades of experience in biomedical research.
Dr. Reed is also one of the ten most-cited researchers in life sciences and medicine, the release said. He will step into his new role April 3, replacing William Hait, MD, PhD, who has led Johnson & Johnson’s pharmaceutical R&D organization in the interim since August.
