Hackensack Meridian appoints central region chair of surgery

Edison, N.J.-based Hackensack Meridian Health named Dr. Faiz Bhora the network’s first regional chair of surgery.

Dr. Bhora, a thoracic surgeon, previously held leadership positions at North Carolina-based Novant Health and New York City’s Mount Sinai Health System, according to a Nov. 14 Hackensack Meridian news release.

Dr. Bhora will oversee four of the system’s locations across Edison, Holmdel and Old Bridge, N.J.
