Currently, Dr. Fisher serves as medical advisor to the CEO at Chesapeake Employers Insurance Company. The Harvard MedTech medical advisory board provides expertise in different areas related to Vx Therapy, the company’s flagship virtual reality and digital product designed to alleviate the effects of trauma, depression, anxiety and other mental health conditions.
Dr. Fisher has a background in work-related injuries and opioid use disorder, according to a Nov. 3 Harvard MedTech news release.
“Dr. Fisher brings a wealth of experience in workers’ compensation claims from both private practice and hospital-employed practice,” said Gerry Stanley, MD, chief medical officer of Harvard MedTech. “His current position involves developing strategies and policies for positively impacting claims as well as the climate of workers’ compensation medicine and practice at-large in Maryland.
