Dr. Robert Glatter joins CaringKind board of directors

Robert Glatter, MD, hasjoined the board of directors for CaringKind, a New York City-based nonprofit focusing on Alzheimer’s disease and dementia caregiving.

CaringKind works with community partners to support patients and families affected by dementia, according to a Dec. 19 news release.

Dr. Glatter currently serves as an attending physician in the department of emergency medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He is also the editor at large of Medscape Emergency Medicine and an assistant professor of emergency medicine at Zucker School of Medicine in Uniondale, N.Y. 

Dr. Glatter also operates his own private practice in New York City and provides medical commentary for a variety of media organizations, including CBS News, ABC News and NBC News. He has been a contributor to Forbes Healthcare and Innovation since 2012.
