Dr. Megan Ranney appointed dean of Yale School of Public Health

Megan Ranney, MD, has been named dean of the Yale School of Public Health in New Haven, Conn. 

Dr. Ranney joins Yale from the Brown University School of Public Health in Providence, R.I., where she has been on faculty since its inception in 2013 and currently serves as deputy dean, according to a Jan. 31 news release from Brown. She will take over her new role July 1.

Dr. Ranney has also been on the faculty of Brown's Warren Alpert Medical School since 2008 and was the founding director of the Brown Lifespan Center for Digital Health.
