Dr. Mark Hyman to join Fountain Life's medical advisory board

Fountain Life, a preventive healthcare artificial intelligence company, has appointed Mark Hyman, MD, to its medical advisory board. 

Dr. Hyman specializes in family medicine, according to a March 6 news release. He is the founder and director of the UltraWellness Center in Lenox, Mass., as well as the founder and senior adviser for the Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine. 

He is also the president of the board for clinical affairs for the Institute for Functional Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Hyman founded the Food Fix Campaign, which targets food and agriculture policy. 

Dr. Hyman is a regular contributor for multiple news networks and television shows and a bestselling author.

"His commitment to applying scientific research to the goal of improving patient health and longevity is remarkable. Dr. Hyman's fellow board members include Eric Verdin, MD, president and CEO of the Novato, Calif.-based Buck Institute for Research on Aging, and Daniel Kraft, MD, a Stanford and Harvard-trained physician scientist, inventor and entrepreneur.
