Dr. Margit Janát-Amsbury to lead biopharmaceutical company as CMO

Dr. Margit Janát-Amsbury, PhD, was appointed chief medical officer of Halia Therapeutics, a Salt Lake City-based biopharmaceutical company.

Halia Therapeutics works to develop medicines to treat diseases driven by chronic inflammation and neurodegeneration, according to a Jan. 19 news release from the company. 

 

Prior to her new role, Dr. Janát-Amsbury served as an executive medical director of early oncology development and a project team lead at Amgen, a biopharmaceutical company based in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
