Dr. Just previously served as president of Augusta Medical Group and vice president of Fishersville, Va.-based Augusta Health, according to an April 3 news release from UVA Health. Prior to that, he was the associate chief medical officer and chair of the department of emergency medicine at Augusta Health, as well as president of Augusta Emergency Physicians.

Craig Kent, MD, UVA Health CEO and UVA’s executive vice president for health affairs, said in the release. “I look forward to having him join our team to help implement our strategic plan and fulfill our mission of transforming health and inspiring hope for all Virginians and beyond.”
He is slated to begin his role as CEO May 2023.
