Dr. Brad Hoyt appointed chief medical information officer of Ardent

Ardent Health Services, a Nashville, Tenn.-based health system, has selected Brad Hoyt, MD, as its next chief medical information officer.

Dr. Hoyt joins the Ardent leadership team with almost 30 years of clinical experience, practicing for the past 26 years at Utica Park Clinic and Hillcrest HealthCare System, both Tulsa, Okla., affiliates of Ardent Health Services, according to a Jan. 3 release from the company.

Dr. Hoyt served in a variety of leadership roles while in Tulsa, including as chief of internal medicine at UPC and on the Ardent Physician Advisory Council. In this new role, he will oversee the optimization of the Epic electronic health record system and other solutions across Ardent’s 30 hospitals.
