Anthony Fauci, MD, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, has joined the faculty at the Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Fauci will serve as a distinguished university professor — Georgetown's highest professional honor, according to a June 26 news release. He will teach in the division of infectious diseases and will hold an additional appointment in the university's McCourt School of Public Policy.
