Dr. Desai will report directly to CVS Health CEO and president Karen Lynch in his new role.

“This new organization will leverage the strength of the CVS Health portfolio to develop and implement payor-agnostic products and services,” Ms. Lynch said. “Amar’s deep background in clinical delivery and value-based care will be an asset as we continue to deliver high-quality health and wellness care to our members and consumers.”

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
