Cigna Group, Radiology Partners add physicians to leadership

Philip Ozuah, MD, PhD, has joined the board of directors of global health company the Cigna Group, effective June 1.

Dr. Ozuah has served as president and CEO of New York City-based Montefiore Medicine since 2019, according to a May 1 news release from the Cigna Group. He has been with Montefiore for 32 years and served as executive president and COO from 2012 to 2018.

As president and CEO of Montefiore, Dr. Ozuah is responsible for overseeing the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx in addition to the health system's 13 member hospitals and 300 ambulatory sites.

Meanwhile, Andrew Litt, MD, has been appointed to the board of directors for Radiology Partners, the largest radiology practice in the country.

Dr. Litt currently serves as CEO of Cornice Health Ventures, according to a May 1 news release from Radiology Partners. He is also an operating partner with the Vistria Group and Whistler Capital, board chair for Seno Medical and an adviser to Octave BioSciences.

Dr. Litt is a neuroradiologist with more than two decades of experience treating patients and previously served as executive vice president and vice dean for the NYU Langone Medical Center in New York City.
