Dr. Lindsay Arthur appointed chair of surgery, surgeon-in-chief at Saint Peter’s hospitals

Lindsay Grier Arthur, MD, has been named chair of the department of surgery at Saint Peter’s University Hospital and surgeon-in-chief for The Children’s Hospital at Saint Peter’s in New Brunswick, N.J.

Dr. Arthur joins Saint Peter’s from St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, according to a news release shared April 20 with Becker’s. At Saint Peter’s, he will focus on general pediatric surgery, head and neck surgery and congenital surgeries.

A physician with nearly 16 years of clinical experience in pediatric surgery, Dr. Arthur is also the only recipient from the United States of the Peter Paul Rickman prize for most outstanding presentation at the British Association of Pediatric Surgeons Meeting.
