Providence, R.I.-based Brown Health Medical Group Primary Care introduced Primary Care Select, a membership-based primary care service in Cranston, R.I.
The service is accepting members ages 18 and older for an annual out-of-pocket fee of $2,400, according to an Oct. 8 news release.
Primary Care Select offers longer personalized visits, direct communication with physicians and preventive care. Insurance will continue to be billed for covered primary care services, laboratory testing, imaging, specialist care and other services covered under an individual’s health plan.
The practice will be staffed by Ami Muehlberg, DO, and Kyle Johnson, DO.
Brown University Health is pursuing a growth strategy to serve 30,000 additional patients over the next three years by adding 27 clinicians. Brown Health Medical Group Primary Care has accepted more than 18,000 new primary care patients over the past year.
