Baltimore Ravens physician named outstanding NFL physician

Andrew Tucker, MD, has been named outstanding team physician by the Professional Football Athletic Trainers Society.

Dr. Tucker received the Jerry “Hawk” Rhea Award at the NFL Physicians Society Annual Scientific Meeting on March 1 during the NFL Combine, according to a March 6 report from the Baltimore Ravens.

Dr. Tucker has been with the team since its inception in 1996 and served as the president of the NFL Physicians Society through the 2007 and 2008 seasons. He spent five years as the team physician for the Cleveland Browns before joining the Ravens.
