Ms. Larsen-Engelkes was appointed vice president of informatics for Avera in 2022, and she has worked with the health system since 1996.
In her role, Ms. Larsen-Engelkes will coordinate and evaluate the hospital’s nursing services, plan and manage professional development and staffing, and assign clinical departments.
She succeeds former chief nursing officer Lori Popkes, RN.
