Dr. Lombardi will step into this role in January 2025. The news release said he will provide vision and strategic planning for the health system’s clinical services, professional performance, quality and patient safety, medical and clinical education, clinical research, network growth and development across AtlantiCare’s 110 locations.
Dr. Lombari brings over 30 years of experience in vascular and endovascular surgery to the role and has authored over 125 publications and specializes in complex open and minimally invasive aortic reconstructions. He previously served as chief of vascular and endovascular surgery and director of aortic surgery at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, N.J.
