Ascension Saint Thomas taps new hospital administrator

Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, Tenn., has named Brittney Urso as the administrator for its new Westlawn Neighborhood Hospital, which is set to open in March, according to a Jan. 16 report from the Rutherford County Source

Ms. Urso has been with Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford since 2015, serving as nurse manager for the clinical decision unit and interdisciplinary director of the clinical decision and medical and surgical units. 

Ascension’s new Westlawn hospital will include eight inpatient medical beds, an emergency department with eight treatment rooms, diagnostic imaging, lab and telemedicine services.

It will also house clinical office space and serve as a satellite campus for Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford.
