Dr. Divers currently serves as AON’s chief medical officer and chair of the advisory board, according to a Jan. 24 release. He practices as a medical oncologist at Genesis Cancer and Blood Institute in Hot Springs, Ark., a partner practice of AON.
Dr. Wright-Browne practices at the Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute in Port Charlotte, Fla. She completed an oncology-hematology fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and is board certified in medical oncology and hematology.
Drs. Divers and Wright-Browne joined the board effective Jan. 1 following the retirement of Stephen Orman, MD, and Daniel Spitz, MD, from the board of managers. They join Douglas Heldreth, MD, Vipul Patel, MD, and Shalin Shah, DO, on the board.
Dr. Shah was also appointed chair of the board after joining in early 2022 and serving as vice president. He also practices as a medical oncologist at Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute, according to a Jan. 25 release.
Dr. Divers will step into Dr. Shah’s previous position as vice president.
