Alice L. Walton School hires 4 assistant deans

The Alice L. Walton School of Medicine in Bentonville, Ark., appointed Ken Hopper, MD, Angela Pierce, PhD, and Quoc-Anh Thai, MD, to assistant dean positions.

Dr. Hopper will serve as assistant dean for health systems science education, according to a May 4 news release from the school. Dr. Pierce was named assistant dean of whole health integration and Dr. Thai will serve as assistant dean for art of healing. 

The school also added Dan Kallenberger as assistant dean of admissions, recruitment and whole health initiation, and seven other full-time faculty members, according to the release. 

The school is expected to open in 2025.
