Adena Health System selects Dr. Shaheed Koury as next chief clinical officer

Shaheed Koury, MD, has been selected as chief clinical officer for Chillicothe, Ohio-based Adena Health System, according to a Dec. 20 release. Adena Health serves patients throughout South Central and Southern Ohio.

Dr. Koury joins the healthcare system with over 25 years of experience, most recently serving as the chief medical officer and president of clinical operations at Quorum Health in Brentwood, Tenn. He received his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington.

Dr. Koury will assume the role Jan. 2, when he will be responsible for overseeing Adena’s quality of care initiatives and clinical operations.
