4 physicians taking on chief medical officer roles

Here are four physicians who have been appointed to chief medical officer roles this month, as reported by Becker’s since Aug. 2:

1. Glenn Hardesty, DO, was appointed as chief medical officer of Dallas-based Medical City Healthcare’s Medical City Denton and Medical City Argyle campuses.  

2. Scott Schissel, MD, PhD, was named chief medical officer of Newark (N.J.) Beth Israel Medical Center.

3. Jason Chung, MD, joined SSM Health as vice president of medical affairs and chief medical officer at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital-Midwest in Midwest City, and SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital-Shawnee, both in Oklahoma. 

4. Bihu Sandhir, MD, was named chief medical officer of Findlay, Ohio-based Blanchard Valley Health System.
