4 physician CEO moves in July

Here are four physicians who made announcements to move into or out of the CEO role at hospitals and health systems in July, as reported by Becker’s:

1. Jaewon Ryu, MD, is stepping down as CEO of Risant Health.

2. Michael McCoy, MD, plans to step down as president and CEO of West Burlington, Iowa-based Great River Health. 

3. David Miller, MD, CEO of Ann Arbor-based Michigan Medicine, was named president and CEO of Nashville, Tenn.-based Vanderbilt Health, effective Jan. 1.

4. Michael White, MD, was appointed the next president and CEO of Phoenix-based Valleywise Health.
