Don’t overthink operating a private practice.
Connect with a mentor who has experience in private practice to gather insight.
Get comfortable asking for help and designating tasks to others who might be more knowledgeable about certain aspects of running a private practice, like accountants and lawyers.
Pay attention to the terms of your contract, including noncompete clauses, and don’t be afraid to leave a job that isn’t working out for you.
