Hippocratic AI forms physician advisory council

Hippocratic AI, a healthcare technology company that develops artificial health general intelligence, has formed a physician advisory council to guide the development of its large language model for healthcare.

The safety-focused LLM was designed with a focus on patient-facing, non-diagnostic applications, according to an Oct. 10 news release. The physician advisory council will focus on ensuring that Hippocratic AI’s technology is ready for safe deployment.

The initial seven members of the advisory council are Hansa Bhargava, MD; Mike Roizen, MD; Peter Pronovost, MD, PhD; Chad Perlyn, MD, PhD; Shayan Vyas, MD; John Prunskis, MD; and Abe Warshaw, MD.
