Xiaoyan Wang, PhD, has been named chief scientific officer of Melax Tech, a biomedical data technology company based in Houston.
Prior to her new role, Dr. Wang served as vice president of the analytics, informatics and biopharma solutions at Sema4, a healthcare intelligence company based in Stamford, Conn., according to a Jan. 19 news release from Melax Tech.
Melax Tech uses data science to develop artificial intelligence tools and platforms for the healthcare industry, according to the release.
