The 10 highest-, lowest-paying states for CRNAs

Although the average annual salary among certified registered nurse anesthetists in the U.S. is $255,078, that figure varies greatly depending on which state one practices in, according to career website ZipRecruiter.

The site, updated Sept. 11, compiles salary data from both employer job postings and third-party data sources.

CRNAs earn $284,772 in New Jersey, the highest-paying state, while those in Florida, the lowest-paying state, earn an average of $187,158.

Here are the 10 highest-paying states for CRNAs, along with the average annual salaries:
