Titusville, Fla.-based Parrish Medical Group will adopt a cashless payment model beginning Jan. 1, 2026.

According to a Nov. 24 news release shared with Becker’s, the decision comes in response to an increased demand for digital convenience.

“Parrish Medical Group joins healthcare providers nationally who are moving towards cashless payment models to improve operational efficiency, patient experience and provide more secure transactions,” reads the release.

After the effective date, patients will be able to pay for services using written checks, credit or debit cards, as well as through online payments. Cash payments will still be accepted at Parrish Healthcare’s Central Business Office, also in Titusville.

Annabell Prigge, assistant vice president of Parrish Medical Group Operations, said that the practice is looking into other digital payment options, such as Apple Pay and Google Wallet, in the near future.
