Vermont hospital names new CMO

Ryan Sexton, MD, has been named chief medical officer of Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital in St. Johnsbury, according to a July 7 report from WCAX3

Dr. Sexton previously served as the emergency room medical director for the hospital. He will be taking over the position from Michael Rousse, MD, who is retiring after 20 years as CMO.

Dr. Sexton told WCAX3 that he plans to focus on retention, recruitment and sharing his emergency room experience with staff.
