Dr. Galante previously served as interim CMO and trauma medical director for the system. As hospital CMO, he will work as a liaison between the hospital, medical school and self-governed medical staff for the UC Davis Medical Center.
UC Davis names new hospital CMO
Joe Galante, MD, was named chief medical officer of hospital clinical care services at Sacramento, Calif.-based UC Davis, according to a July 1 LinkedIn post from the health system.
