ThedaCare names Dr. Mira Iliescu-Levine chief medical officer of network development

Neenah, Wis.-based ThedaCare has tapped Mira Iliescu-Levine, MD, as its chief medical officer of network development and innovation.

Dr. Iliescu-Levine previously served as CMO and medical director of TeleICU/Telehealth services for St. Louis-based Ascension, according to a May 24 news release from ThedaCare. 

Prior to that, she was the medical director of teleICU/telehealth services for Chicago-based Amita Health. She was also the CMO, chair of the department of internal medicine and president of medical staff for Chicago-based Sinai Health System.  

Additionally, she is an assistant professor in the department of internal medicine division of pulmonary and critical care at Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University.

Dr. Iliescu-Levine is slated to begin her role at ThedaCare on May 30.
