Tenet Healthcare names chief medical officer for Massachusetts market

Michele Sinopoli, MD, has been appointed chief medical officer for Tenet Healthcare’s Massachusetts market.

Dr. Sinopoli will oversee Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester and MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, according to a Feb. 23 news release from Tenet Healthcare. She will begin her new role in April.

Dr. Sinopoli has served as chief of obstetrics and gynecology at Saint Vincent Hospital since 2019. Under her leadership, the department was the first in Central Massachusetts to be recognized as a designated birth facility through the World Health Organization’s Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative.
