Tegria appoints Dr. Ray Gensinger chief medical officer

Ray Gensinger, MD, has been appointed senior vice president and chief medical officer of Tegria, a healthcare consulting and technology services company.

Dr. Gensinger joins Tegria from Springfield, Ill.-based Hospital Sisters Health System, where he served as chief information officer, according to a March 13 news release. He has also served as chief medical information officer for Fairview Health Services and Hennepin County Medical Center, both based in Minneapolis.

In addition to these roles, Dr. Gensinger recently served on the advisory board for Healthtrust Information Technology and has held faculty positions at the University of Minnesota’s School of Nursing and Institute for Health Informatics.
