Sana Primary Care appoints Dr. Jay Parkinson chief medical officer

Jay Parkinson, MD, has been named chief medical officer of Sana Primary Care, a health plan provider for small businesses.

Dr. Parkinson is a physician and healthcare entrepreneur, according to a May 17 news release from Sana. He is a co-founder of virtual primary care company Sherpaa, design and consultancy firm the Future Well and electronic health record company Hello Health.
