Physician-led public benefit corporation adds chief medical officer

Michael Le, MD, has been named chief medical officer of physician-led organization WelbeHealth, a California-based program of all-inclusive care for older adults.

Dr. Le joins WelbeHealth from Optum Home and Community Care, where he served as chief medical officer, according to a May 18 news release from WelbeHealth. He was previously the co-founder and chief medical officer of Landmark Health, which provided physician-led, multidisciplinary house calls to older adults.

As chief medical officer, Dr. Le will be responsible for the public benefit corporation’s team of physicians, nurses and healthcare professionals.
