Hendricks Regional Health appoints chief medical officer

Ryan Van Donselaar, DO, has been named chief medical officer of Danville, Ind.-based Hendricks Regional Health.

Dr. Van Donselaar joined Hendricks’ adult hospitalist team in 2013 before being named hospitalist director in 2020, according to a July 13 news release from the health system. He previously served as chair of the system’s ancillary pharmacy and therapeutics committee.

As chief medical officer, Dr. Van Donselaar will be responsible for overseeing clinical programs for the hospital system. He will begin his new role July 24, the report said.
