Dr. MacIntyre has more than 20 years of experience as an acute care and trauma surgeon. He was serving as a trauma surgeon on Oct. 1, 2017, during a mass shooting in Las Vegas and performed 58 surgeries within the first 24 hours of the incident and 83 surgeries total.
His work in response to the Las Vegas shooting earned him the Surgical Triage Award from HCA Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas.
