Dr. Helen Messier named chief medical officer of Fountain Life

Helen Messier, MD, PhD, has been promoted to chief medical officer of Fountain Life, which uses artificial intelligence to improve disease detection and longevity for patients.

Dr. Messier first joined the company in 2022 as chief clinical and scientific officer, according to an April 18 news release. She has previously served as chief medical officer of Viome and medical director of genomics at Human Longevity.

Dr. Messier is also a practicing physician and the founder of a national network of concierge medical practices in Canada, the release said.
