Dr. Anita Toussi named chief medical officer of regional Centura St. Catherine Hospitals

Anita Toussi, MD, PhD, has been named chief medical officer of the Centura St. Catherine Hospitals of Southwest Kansas.

Dr. Toussi joins Centura with 22 years of experience as a physician leader, according to a March 2 release. She most recently served as chief medical officer of Horizon Health in Paris, Ill., from 2019 to August 2022, leading the health system through the pandemic.

She began leading the Southwest Kansas locations of Centura St. Catherine Hospitals in Dodge City, Ulysses and Garden City on Feb. 27, according to LinkedIn.
