Dignity Health names chief medical officer for California medical center

Charlie Abraham, MD, has been appointed chief medical officer of St. Bernardine Medical Center, a Dignity Health hospital in San Bernardino, Calif.

Dr. Abraham most recently served as chief medical officer of Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, Calif., according to an Aug. 10 news release. He previously served as St. Bernardine’s physician adviser for utilization management and care coordination.
