Dr. Soni joins Covered California after serving as associate chief medical officer at New Century Health, according to an April 13 news release from the insurance marketplace. Before that, she served as director of specialty care for the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services.
Dr. Soni is an internal medicine physician with more than a decade of experience treating patients. She is also a professor with the UCLA department of medicine in Los Angeles and the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science department of internal medicine in Los Angeles.
