Dr. Kim recently served as deputy chief medical officer for the health center, overseeing itsCOVID-19 response, including launching vaccination sites, and leading the health center’s expansion in the New York City borough of Queens, the report said.
She will succeed Perry Pong, MD, who is stepping down after 15 years as chief medical officer. He will continue to treat patients at the community health center, while also helping launch a new branch focused on clinical education.
